Designer Ladies Clothing
So now you have done it. You have decided to go buy your wife, girlfriend, or maybe your mother some clothes. We sure hope that you know what you are getting yourself into because buying ladies clothes isn’t as easy as buying men’s clothes. There are a lot of different things that you need to consider when buying womens clothes. So, we have decided to leave you with tips on how to go about this feat of yours.
First you need to make sure that you have the right size or you are in big trouble. Secondly be sure to ask for assistance because if you are going about this all by yourself then once again, you are going to be in trouble. Lastly, be sure that you have an idea of the women’s clothes that the person you are buying them for likes. With all of the tips in mind then you should be on your way to successfully buying ladies clothes.
Buying ladies clothes can be a big mistake for a man to do but it will especially be a fumble if you have no idea on what your ladies size is. Make sure that you check the labels of the clothing to get an exact idea on what size you are looking for. Also don’t just look at one piece of clothing be sure to check several because not all sizes are created equal.
The store clerks are there at the store for a reason and that is to help bumbling fools such as you. Beyond the knowledge of fashion and sizes that the store will have if it is a lady clerk she will also be able to give you a ladies perspective on what you should buy. After all, you are shopping for ladies clothing and a lady knows best. I say this to all of my clients the store clerks are there to help and make sure that you take advantage of their expertise.
Before buying ladies clothes make sure that you have an idea of what you are looking for. Don’t go out shopping trying to find something that you like. We all had some aunt do that for us when we were kids and we all know how that turned out. Get a sense of what she likes. Either ask her and look in her closets or make a note of what wears on a daily basis. You don’t want her to be wearing an article of ladies clothing just so that she doesn’t hurt your feelings do you? Once again remember that sweater that your aunt bought you when you were a child? Be sure to buy for her not for you.
These 3 tips should leave you with a better understanding on how to go about surviving in those “jungles” that we as men call “women clothing stores”.
Plus Size Clothing Is A Big Ladies Clothes Market

Plus Size Ladies Clothes
No pun intended but one of the big markets for ladies clothes is plus size clothing. While the broadest market is the so-called middle range of clothing, those people with slightly different requirements have the greatest need for special attention. It can be discouraging to go shopping for an outfit that is at either end of the size spectrum – either tiny sizes or plus sizes.
It only makes sense that the manufacturers would make ladies clothes galore in the middle range. Think of the bell curve factor where the big part of the bell curve is in the middle and you can see why there are lots of clothes in size 12. And lots of choices. Sure, there are plus size clothing stores that cater to ladies clothes in sizes that are at the end of the curve but if you live in a small town, finding a lot of choices may be a challenge. The same can be said for ladies shoes. If you have a size 4 foot, try to find a strappy high-heeled sandal in red. Then again, there might be many choices if you wear a size 7 shoe.
One of the other things about ladies clothes that is interesting is the way that current fashions suddenly appear and then just as suddenly disappear. To use an example or two from the past, think of the blouses with big puffy sleeves worn with a fitted vest or a princess line dress with the high waist. One year these are the height of ladies clothing fashion. Two years later if a woman showed up at a party wearing one of these outfits, that poor soul would be considered hopelessly outdated. However, maybe 15 years later, a princess line dress would be the zenith of fashion in ladies clothing.
If you happen to be looking for the perfect outfit and you cannot find what you want in your local stores, do not make the two classic mistakes that so many women have made. Do not browse through the ladies clothes and settle for something that is not your dream outfit. And do not buy something that is the wrong size. It is guaranteed that you will not wear the wrong size or enjoy the wrong style for very long. It is also guaranteed that you will not have fun in any outfit that fails in style and fit because you will feel uncomfortable and awkward and you will not end up enjoying the event.
A Tribune From Ladies Clothes Sale To Alexander McQueen
It is with great sadness that the world discovers the untimely death of the great British fashion designer Alexander McQueen. Alexander McQueen was a man ahead of his time giving a shocking wake up call to the world of fashion. His career took off in the 90’s and his brand of runway shows brought an outrageous injection of dramatic, entertainment into a sleepy fashion world. He was one of a kind, a true visionary in the high competitive world of ladies fashion. Alexander was to ladies clothes as Picasso was to art. He was found dead on the morning of Thursday February 11, 2010. Police had confirmed that it was suicide.
Alexander McQueen was born Lee Alexander McQueen March 16, 1969. The son of a taxi driver (father), and teacher (mother), Alexander knew from an early age of his love for fashion and ladies clothing. He would please this passion for fashion by making formal dresses for his three sisters already exploring his talents with ladies clothes. Alexander’s eye for ladies clothing was already widely known as he was growing up. He attended Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 1994 and his career took off almost immediately. Celebrities that wear his ladies clothing line include such names as Lady Gaga as well as Nicole Kidman. Mikhail Gorbachev and Prince Charles also had clothes designed by McQueen so ladies clothing was not his only obsession. Rumours of Alexander’s talent for fashion soon became common knowledge when he became the head designer at Givenchy in 1996. Soon after being hired at Givenchy, he won British Designer of the Year four times establishing himself as the real deal. In 2001 Alexander started his own labels “Alexander McQueen” and “McQ” branching out on his own. Alexander’s mother passed away on February 2, 2010 and he was devastated by it. Up to the days leading to his death he was said to be in a depressive mood. He was found dead February 11, the day before his mother’s funeral.
When creative talents disappear at the height of their greatness there is an extra bit of numbness in the hearts of those that loved them. It is sad that there lives were cut short preventing them from reaching the full potential of their incredible gift. One thing is for sure, the world of ladies fashion clothing has lost one of its great designers. And ladies clothes will never be designed the same again.
So long Alexander,
Sarah Pucci
